Fazlur Rehman Says State Writ Has Collapsed Across KP and Balochistan

JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said the writ of the state has collapsed across the Pashtun districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and much of Balochistan — describing a breakdown of police authority in Bannu, Tank and Lakki Marwat, and warning that the army holds only the cities in Balochistan. The government and military reject the characterisation.
